After almost three weeks of nearly steady going, me and my new companions reached Regina last night. I am so glad that I travelled to Winnipeg immediately after Reckoning, never knowing or having to care that we Fallen can't travel. The travelling difficulties hadn't kicked in yet, apparently. Well, 15 years later I have them in all their glory, and so walking it was. The journey was not difficult, per se, but suffice to say that I won't be leaving Regina any time soon. I don't intend to travel anywhere else ever again.

Regina. It is an even smaller city than Winnipeg, which I initially chose for its small size, out-of-the-way kind of feel, although I also wanted to be able to fit in with the humans. I don't care about that so much any more. Well, I have yet to see whether Regina will live up to its reputation, but Cheriour wanted to come here because of its potential for positive change. The murder capital of however far away it was. AIDS and other diseases abound. A downtown chock full of crime and decay. Justice... everywhere just waiting to be served. Ah yes. The Lawbringers, we shall bring glory to this small city.

The census is this weekend. I will be meeting the rest of the Fallen in this place. Regina apparently has an interesting history in terms of Fallen population. Let us see whether that makes them any tougher or wiser or willing to act than those in Winnipeg. I sure hope they are - there is so much to be done!
